Since Cory Wythe started the Marvel Years project over a decade ago, he’s conquered the world of electronic soul. He’s performed at Red Rocks and other legendary venues numerous times in support of huge artists including Pretty Lights, STS9 and ZHU while also landing slots at major festivals like Camp Bisco, Hulaween, and Electric Forest. But for Wythe there is a musical apparatus that enthralls and defines him far more than anything electronic. An instrument that has been a source of respite, joy, excitement, and insight since he was only 10 years old: the guitar. In this coming phase of his career, Wythe will provide a true and honest reflection of who he is as an artist, as his fingers tap, bend, and strum out the raw talent he’s demonstrated for years. With over 25 years of professional experience in music, Joe Restivo’s guitar playing strongly reflects his Memphis roots. Joe Restivo 4 is influenced and inspired by soul and jazz musicians such as Wes Montgomery, Tal Farlow, Steve Cropper and Reggie Young.

The word Brimstone is usually accompanied by the word fire so it’s fitting to say Brimstone Jones brings the heat with their eclectic mix of Rock, Soul and Blues. When you come from the home of Blues, Soul & Rock ‘N’ Roll, expectations are high. The four-piece Memphis, Tennessee act consists of lead vocalist/musician Zack Mack, bassist Kelly McDonald, drummer Rodd Bland, and organist/vocalist Joe Boogie.

Zack Mack is an accomplished frontman, songwriter, and instrumentalist known for his regular collaboration with fellow Memphis musician and Shinedown guitarist Zach Myers. Bassist Kelly McDonald cut his teeth more than three decades ago on the Rock scene but found his way to the Blues playing steady gigs with Little Jimmy King, Eugene Gales, Eric Gales, and Corey Osborn. While drummer Rodd Bland matured as a professional by laying down his signature grooves for his father legendary Blues singer Bobby “Blue” Bland, his Godfather legendary Blues musician B.B. King, GRAMMY Award-winning Lawrence “Boo” Mitchell, other music veterans and under the radar bands alike. On the keys is Joe Boogie, a well known Memphis musician who has performed alongside the likes of Bobby “Blue” Bland, Little Milton, and the late “King of Beale Street” Preston Shannon.

Since 2010 this multi-talented ensemble has been a staple on the Boulevard of Blues, Beale Street, performing regularly at B.B. King’s Blues Club, Club 152, and the Band Box at the Blues City Cafe. Brimstone Jones is known for playing a vast array of covers but has an impressive catalog of original material to satisfy the most diverse of musical tastes. In fact, music fans and enthusiasts from around the world have enjoyed their passion-filled performances. A few legendary musicians such as Rock & Roll Hall of Fame drummer Chad Smith (Red Hot Chilli Peppers) and keyboardist David Bryan (Bon Jovi) have enjoyed the show so much they decided to join the band for a few selections.

Brimstone Jones is currently writing and recording material for their debut EP of original material with plans for touring to support it soon after its release. So be sure to stay plugged in for a release date so you too can feel the heat!

Fairly Goode is a Memphis-based band with hopes to live up to their name while inspiring folks to get down.

Fairly Goode has been playing with various groups in the region for decades. With combined backgrounds in many different genres, Fairly Goode plays a unique blend of jam band and classic rock that they loved and listened to growing up. They also sprinkle the set list with current songs and blues that fit their style. The basic guitar/bass/drums setup is enhanced by bluesy harmonica and a rockin’ keyboard. Their favorites are your favorites from the likes of The Grateful Dead and Panic to the Stones and Skynyrd.

FreeWorld is an independent, regionally touring, ever-evolving, Memphis-based musical ensemble that draws from influences as broad-based as Booker T. & the M.G.’s, John Coltrane, Frank Zappa, The Grateful Dead, Steely Dan, Chicago, and The Meters. These brothers under one multicultural groove have remained a consistently entertaining and informed voice on the Memphis music scene since the group’s inception in 1987.

Steve Hopper, born and raised halfway between Memphis, and Nashville, and just north of Muscle Sholes, he was influenced by all the music that surrounded him. Mixing all these musical genres with his lifelong love for the gulf coast, he developed a style similar to that of Jimmy Buffett, and Kenny Chesney. He is nationally recognized through the ParrotHead & Trop Rock organizations as one of the top performing artist.
