With over 25 years of professional experience in music, Joe Restivo’s guitar playing strongly reflects his Memphis roots. Joe Restivo 4 is influenced and inspired by soul and jazz musicians such as Wes Montgomery, Tal Farlow, Steve Cropper and Reggie Young.

Debbie was born and raised in Memphis Tennessee. She first started singing in choirs at School, Church and on her Grandparents Front Porch. She started singing with her Brother’s band in High School and went on to perform with many Local bands including River City Sound, Phase II, Eddie Harrison and the Shortkuts, Memphis All Stars, Reba Russell Band, The Breaks, Tony Thomas Trio, Herman Green and the Green Machine and many more. She also worked with the Elvin Bishop Band featuring Mickey Thomas and Tower of Power and spent a year on the road recording a Double Live Album “Raisin Hell”. She has appeared on many Local TV shows and some National ones including Soul Train. Debbie writes, produces, arranges and sings commercials or jingles and has done National Campaigns for Holiday Inns, Perkins, Nationwide Insurance, Hampton Inns, Auto Zone and many more. She’s worked on stage  with some of the Greats like Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Shirelles, Little Anthony, Dion Warwick, Rufus and Carla Thomas, The Allman Brothers, David Porter, Bryan Adams, Chuck Berry, Tanya Tucker, Tony Bennett, The Righteous Brothers, Eddie Money, The Temptations, REO Speedwagon, Starship, Survivor, Albert and BB King, The Boxtops and many more. She is also a session singer and has worked on projects for Albert Collins, Al Green, Joe Walsh, Jimi Jamison, Nicolette Larson, Linda Gayle Lewis, Sanne, Peter Michaels, Mark Collie, Mylon LeFevre, The Blackwood Bros, Amy Grant, Jimi Jamison, The Boxtops and many more. Debbie is a Strong Versatile singer who always gives it straight from the heart and has also worked  with a lot of local artists like Ruby Wilson, Jimi Jamison, Reba Russell, Susan Marshall, Van Duren, Vicki Loveland, Wendy Moten, Jamie Baker, Pat Register, Scott Sudbury, Jeff Adams, Stacy Michelle, Jimmy Davis and a whole lot more. Steve Hopper, born and raised halfway between Memphis, and Nashville, and just north of Muscle Sholes, he was influenced by all the music that surrounded him. Mixing all these musical genres with his lifelong love for the gulf coast, he developed a style similar to that of Jimmy Buffett, and Kenny Chesney. He is nationally recognized through the ParrotHead & Trop Rock organizations as one of the top performing artist.

Guitarist and vocalist Brad Birkedahl has entertained audiences around the world.

He has been a Memphis Beale Street featured performer since moving to Memphis from Tacoma, Washington in 1998 as co-founder of the rockabilly trio, The Dempseys. The band performed locally and internationally for 13 years before disbanding in 2010. The group received numerous awards including a brass note on Beale Street in 2014.

Brad continues to perform as a solo artist with The Brad Birkedahl Band. His musical influences include the great rockabilly artists from Memphis’ Sun Records; Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Charlie Rich, as well as the soulful instrumentals of STAX recording studio, surf hits and more. Brad also offers an extensive repertoire of Elvis music ranging from the 1950’s through the 1970’s.

In 2014 he released his first solo CD “Movin On”. He is on the preferred list of performers for Graceland and the Memphis Tourism organization.

Brad has shared the stage with world-renowned artist such as Stray Cats, Carl Perkins, James Burton, DJ Fontana, Billy Burnette, Wanda Jackson, The TCB Band. He was the headlining act at the 2018 Elvis Festival in the United Kingdom hosted by the Strictly Elvis UK Travel Service.

Brad was featured in the highly acclaimed 2005 feature film “Walk the Line”, the Johnny Cash biopic starring Joaquin Pheonix and Reese Witherspoon. Brad portrayed Elvis’ guitar player Scotty Moore. He can also be seen accompanying the characters of Roy Orbison and Jerry Lee Lewis in the film.

He is also host/producer of Memphis Flash, a podcast for the ultimate Elvis Presley fan. Brad and co-host Mark Shaffer uncover hidden gems in the life and music career of the king of rock and roll.

Roxi Love is a four-pieceband with more than 100 years of combined gigging experience. They play a variety of music including:Top 40 Pop, Country, Classic Rock, Oldies, R & B, Funk, Reggae, Hip Hop, and Rap.

Traci McCullough,on bass and vocals, isa multi-instrumentalistand has been playing music since the age of nine. She got her start in church playing piano, then moved onto learn guitar and mandolin. In the end, the bass caught her heart and that is the instrument she chooses to play. She is a solid and driving bassist that holds down the bottom. Her playing skills are only topped by her vocals. Sultry and powerful, she wows the crowd with her sound and ability to cross genres with ease.

Andy McCullough,guitarist and vocalist for the band,has been playing since the age of seven and had his first paying gig at the young age of eleven! He has had the honor of sharing the stage with top musicians such as: Wayne Swinny(Saliva), Damon Johnson (Brother Cane), Greg Edmonton (Breaking Point), and more. He has also openedor played for: Grand Funk Railroad, 38 special, Jerry Lee Lewis, Aaron Tippon, and Daryl Singletairy.Andy’sguitar style is a fiery blend of rock blues and funk with his own unique sound. He specializes in harmony vocalsbut will take the lead without hesitation.

Manny Zepeda,keyboardist and vocalist for Roxi Love,has been playing from a very early age. He is very knowledgeable in the synthesized sounds of new and old music. He has a background in music theory and has been playing for a living for most of his adult life. This multi-talentedmusician also plays bassflawlessly and lead and rhythm guitar. His knowledge in theory has helped him land cruise line jobs playing with bands and in orchestral shows. His voice is crisp and smooth. He’s got a sound for new and old and everything in between.

Finally, Doug McMinnthe drummer and foundation for the band. Born into a musical family, Doug had his first paying gig at the age of 14. After nine years backing his Dad,the legendary Papa Don McMinnon historical Beale Street, he hit the roadtouring the USA, Canada andEurope. For more than 20 years, BlackHawk has shared a unique sense of harmony with their voices, their songs and their fans. It’s a harmony that has sold over 7 million albums, scored some of the most distinctive country radio hits of the ‘90s, and still draws tens of thousands of fans to their electrifying live performances. Today BlackHawk continues to honor its past as it forges its future, and does it all with a commitment that takes their music – and the harmony – to a whole new level.

“When we started,” says BlackHawk co-founder & lead vocalist Henry Paul, “our individual careers as writers and performers gave us somewhat of a more creative sensibility. We were three guys whose goal was to approach country with smart songs and unique harmonies for people who may not automatically like country.” Paul had previously co-founded Southern Rock legends The Outlaws, as well as leading the popular ‘80s rockers The Henry Paul Band. Van Stephenson had mainstream pop success as an ‘80s singer-songwriter-guitarist (“Modern Day Delilah”). And Dave Robbins had written hits for Eric Clapton and Kenny Rogers while partnering with Stephenson to write a series of classic #1 hits for Restless Heart, including “The Bluest Eyes In Texas” and “Big Dreams In A Small Town”.

“Even though the three of us had a love and appreciation for traditional country music,” says Dave, “we knew we weren’t going to be that. Henry was coming from Southern Rock, Van & I were in Nashville, but were writing country songs with pop sensibilities. When it came to our vocals, we wanted the three of us to be up front in the choruses like Crosby, Stills & Nash or The Eagles. What set us apart from the very beginning musically was being true to who we were individually.”

BlackHawk’s 1993 self-titled Arista debut album launched with the smash single “Goodbye Says It All”, followed by the Top 5 hits “Every Once in a While”, “I Sure Can Smell the Rain”, “Down in Flames” and “That’s Just About Right”. The album soon certified Double-Platinum, and the band received an ACM nomination as Best New Vocal Group Of The Year. BlackHawk followed up with the hit albums Strong Enough, Love & Gravity and Sky’s The Limit, which collectively featured such hits as “I’m Not Strong Enough To Say No”, “Like There Ain’t No Yesterday”, “Big Guitar”, “Almost A Memory Now”, “There You Have It” and “Postmarked Birmingham”. It was an unprecedented run of hits for a band that never quite fit the standard country mold. “Getting a BlackHawk record on the radio was often a tough sell,” explains Henry, “for the same reason country radio rejected bands like The Mavericks, The Dixie Chicks and Alison Krauss. But we were committed to smart, strong songs whether they fit the format or not. And the fans responded.”

But at the height of the trio’s success in 1999, Van Stephenson was diagnosed with an aggressive form of melanoma. “Van’s contribution to the group was enormous,” Henry says. “He could be a tremendously gifted songwriter and a deeply spiritual guy. We found ourselves at a crossroads as a band, and it would have been an easy time for country music to count us out.”

“Two days before Van passed away, Henry and I went to visit him,” Dave remembers. “Van was in a wheelchair at this point, and we took him for a stroll around his neighborhood. We spent the morning just talking, reminiscing about our career and good times together. Towards the end of our visit, Van said ‘I’ve got two things to ask of you guys. First, do what you can to help raise awareness and find a cure for this thing. The other is, don’t quit. There’s still a lot of great music left in BlackHawk.’” Since Van’s death on April 8th, 2001, the band and its fans have raised nearly a quarter of a million dollars for The Van Stephenson Memorial Cancer Fund at Nashville’s Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.

Henry and Dave regrouped and soon returned to the album charts with their Greatest Hits – dedicated to Van and featuring his final track “Ships Of Heaven” – as well as 2002’s Spirit Dancer and 2011’s Down From The Mountain, along with a touring schedule that brought the music to fans like never before. “Our audiences today are often full of 18 to 30 years olds,” says Dave. “They listened to us as kids, and still have a love for the music we made. That’s a big part of what propels us to keep creating as writers and performers.”

For the fans, for the music and for the brotherhood of Henry and Dave, harmony remains a powerful force. BlackHawk continues to record new music – including their well-received 2015 Brothers Of The Southland album, a forthcoming Christmas record and an acoustic greatest hits album – and deliver stellar live shows, backed by an all-star band of veteran country and southern rock players. “BlackHawk has a 20-year history of a certain kind of song craft as well as a quality of performance,” Henry says with pride. “People have always come to our
shows expecting a concert that is emotionally and musically engaging, and the band still sounds even better than the records, night after night, show after show. When we take the stage, we work as hard as we ever have. We owe it the music, we owe it to ourselves, and Van, and we owe it to the fans. Now more than ever, that’s the true legacy of BlackHawk.”

Souled Out brings together the individual talents of bassist Greg Murphree, vocalist/keyboardist Dave Pelletier, guitarists Chris Goode & James Ennis, and drummer/vocalist Wayne Welch. Combined, they comprise a group of seasoned professional musicians that have played all over the world. Collectively and individually, they have performed on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, on Beale Street, played for national conventions in Las Vegas, entertained the troops on USO tours overseas, and opened up for acts such as Alabama, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, and Charlie Daniels to name a few.
